I'm no expert, but don't you need to know Jaws scripting for that sort of thing?

What do you want the hotkey to do exactly? You can create hotkeys for scripts that already exist using keyboard manager, no additional scripting required. However, if you want to create a whole new script, frame, etc, then it gets a bit more complicated. the procedure really depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

ok first of all, what does hotkey mean to you? how do you wanna aply it. I can suggest a few things: (1) create a hotkey that will launch jaws; (2) change a particular script's or function's hotkey, or (3) create a hotkey that does whatever you want it to do (scripting). So you choose, and when you're back, let us know, thanks, *grins*

I want the hotkey to launch JAWS. Sorry for not being clear. I'm kinda unclear anyway. Thanks for replying.

I'm on danish windows xp home, but as far as I know do the following:
Find the shortcut to launch jaws, go to the shortcuts propperties and define the hotkey in there.
